- Federal Tax Credits - The IRS is offering a tax credit for up to 30% of the value of your installed solar water heater or solar electric system, whether it is installed in a new home or retrofitted in an older home. Keep in mind this is
not a tax deduction, this is a tax credit, so you get 30% of the total cost back up to $2000.
- State of Florida Refund - The State of Florida offers a variety of cash rebates on various installed solar systems.
Solar pool heaters are eligible for a $100 rebate, solar domestic water heaters are eligible for a $500 rebate, and
commercial solar water heating systems are eligible for a rebate of $15 per 1000 BTU. In addition,
Photovoltaic systems can qualify for a rebate based on the manufacturer's power output rating of the system modules, expressed in Watts. The amount is $4.00 per Watt with a residential cap of $20,000 and a $100,000 cap for commercial, publicly owned, or private not-for-profit organization.
- Utility Company Refunds - Many central Florida cities, including Deltona, Deland, Orange City, and Jacksonville, have additional
rebates available for solar system purchases. These rebates can be as high as $800. Please contact us to inquire
