Sun Tunnels | Tubular Skylights​

Sun Tunnels, also known as Tubular Skylights are the latest way to save energy costs, bring light to otherwise dark spaces, and beautify your home or business using the clean rays of the Florida sun. Also known as solar tubes or light tubes, sun tunnels capture sunlight from your roof and direct it through a reflective tube which leads to the ceiling of your interior space where it is diffused throughout the room.

Wayne’s Solar has chosen to carry and install the Natural Light Energy Systems brand of the solar tube after great success and customer satisfaction with Natural Light solar attic fans. Natural Light provides a 25-year warranty and its solar light tubes can be installed easily with little or no modification to the structure. Energy star rated tubular skylights come in the following sizes for residential use:

• 10-inch tubular skylight illuminates 150 square feet – perfect for closets, hallways, laundry rooms, or second bathrooms and equal to 300 watts of electricity.
• 13-inch tubular skylight provides illumination for up to 300 square feet – ideal for kitchens, bedrooms, or master bathrooms and equal to 500 watts of electricity.
• 18-inch tubular skylights illuminate up to 500 square feet –designated for commercial use as well and good for any space built at 24-inch on center construction and equal to 1000 watts of electricity.
• Additional commercial applications for tubular skylights are 21 inches in size and illuminate up to 700 square feet of space with the equivalency of 1,450 watts of electricity.
