Should I worry about potential rook leaks after solar panel installation?
It is best to work with a licensed and experienced solar contractor like Wayne’s Solar when you need to install solar panels (solar photovoltaic) on your roof. Our team of solar experts will ensure that the roof fasteners used to install the panels are stable, strong, and sturdy. We will also ensure that necessary precautions are taken to protect against future roof leaks. You can safely know that your roof will be protected and sealed.
Do I need to call for solar panel maintenance?
Solar panels are very durable and require very little maintenance. In fact, grid-tied solar panel systems do not require maintenance at all, except for occasional cleaning.
My meter spins backward. Is this normal?
There are some cases when you may notice that your meter spins backward. This does not happen all the time, and not for everyone. The meter spins backward when there’s more power generated by your solar panel system than the actual power consumption of your home or commercial building. This is an ideal place to be, and a worth solar goal to aspire to!
If I have solar panels installed, will there still be the possibility of power outages?
Grid-tied solar panel systems that do not come with battery back-up or generators will shut down during power outages. Your solar panel system is still primarily dependent on your electric utility power. However, if you install generators or back-up battery for your solar installment, there will be back-up power available to keep your electricity running even during power outages.
Will my solar panel system work without batteries?
As mentioned above, a solar battery back-up is necessary when you need to keep the power running in case of power outages. However, if power outages are not too common in your area, then battery systems may not be too much of a necessity. Today, most solar panel systems work without batteries.
