Federal Solar Tax Credits
The IRS is offering a tax credit for up to 30% of the value of your installed solar water heater, solar attic fan, or solar electric system, whether it is installed in a new home or retrofitted in an older home. Keep in mind this is not a tax deduction, this is a tax credit, so you get 30% of the total cost back. This federal tax credit can be changed by an incoming Congress, so act now to take full advantage of the existing credit!
Utility Company Refunds
Many central Florida cities, including Deltona, Deland, Orange City, Gainesville, and Jacksonville, have additional rebates available for solar system purchases. These rebates can be as high as $800.

Beaches Energy
Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and other customers of Beaches Energy Services will receive a $500 rebate if they have a new solar water heating system installed by a licensed solar contractor.
Jacksonville Energy Association
JEA offers a $400 rebate on solar hot water installations. We can assist with applying for this solar incentive. Also, check out the special solar financing option especially for JEA customers.
Clay Electric
Clay Electric customers are eligible for rebates for the installation of high-efficiency heat pumps, solar water heating systems, spray foam insulation, and heat pump water heaters. The rebate includes new and retrofitted conventional homes, manufactured homes, and small commercial installations.
City of New Smyrna Beach
City of New Smyrna Beach utility customers are eligible for attractive rebates for solar attic fans and insulation upgrades.
City of New Smyrna Beach electric utility customers, both residential and commercial, are also eligible to receive an added insulation rebate of $0.08 per square foot of conditioned living space up to a $300 credit and a solar attic fan credit of 25% of installed cost up to $200.
